Terms of Service for Viewers
Last updated: October 5, 2026
EventScreen is a pay-per-view live streaming platform operated by Kinecio LLC (Kinecio, we, us), registered in Kansas, United States. These Terms of Service apply to everyone who buys a ticket or watches an event as a viewer. Organizers who publish events are covered by the separate Organizer Terms of Service. By buying a ticket or using the platform to watch, you agree to these Terms.
1. The platform
Organizers publish live events on EventScreen and set a ticket price. You buy a ticket, watch the event live, and can watch the replay after it ends. Each event is published by an organizer, and the organizer is responsible for the event itself, including its content and the rights needed to broadcast it.
Free events can show an advertisement before the stream starts. The ad is served by Google or by the organizer. See the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Information for what that involves and how to choose generic ads.
2. Buying a ticket
- You provide the email address we use to confirm the purchase and to let you sign in to watch.
- Payment is processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
- Your ticket gives you a personal, non-transferable right to watch that event live and, while the replay window is open, its replay.
- The right is for your own private viewing only. You may not resell your ticket, share your watch access with others, or record, copy, or redistribute the stream.
Your purchase is complete when payment succeeds, and we confirm it by email. Some events are private and reachable only through a share link the organizer gives out; the same purchase rules apply to those events.
3. Watching live and replay
The organizer sets the replay window for each event, and it defaults to 7 days after the event ends. When the window closes, the recording is deleted and the replay is no longer available. Live streaming and playback depend on networks and equipment that neither you nor we fully control, so we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free playback.
4. Refunds and cancellations
- If an organizer cancels an event before it starts, we refund your ticket in full.
- If we remove an event for a breach of the terms, we refund tickets already sold.
- Once an event has aired, whether you watched it live or not, tickets are generally not refundable. Where the consumer law of your country or state gives you a right to a refund, that right is not limited by these Terms.
To request a refund, contact us at [email protected].
5. Accounts and sign-in
You sign in with an email magic link we send you, or through device pairing in our apps. The link expires quickly and works once. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure: anyone who can read your inbox can receive a sign-in link. If you believe your account has been used without permission, tell us at [email protected].
6. Acceptable use
As a viewer you agree not to:
- record, resell, or redistribute events, or share watch access with people who have not bought a ticket;
- circumvent access controls such as playback tokens;
- attack, scrape, or interfere with the platform, its infrastructure, or other users.
7. Content and our rights
Events and the artwork that represents them belong to the organizers who publish them, except where they include our branding. The EventScreen platform, software, and design belong to Kinecio. Your ticket is a personal license to watch, not a transfer of any rights in the content.
8. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the platform is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will always work, that playback will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the platform is secure against every attack.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the platform or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100. We are not liable for lost data or indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend accounts or access that breach these Terms or the law. You may stop using the platform at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive, including 7 through 9, continue to apply after you stop using the platform.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and tell you on the platform or by email. If you keep using the platform after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Kansas. Where the consumer law of your country or state gives you stronger protections, those protections still apply to you.
