Organizer Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy explains how EventScreen, operated by Kinecio LLC (Kinecio, we, us), registered in Kansas, United States, handles the personal information of organizers who publish events and use the EventScreen backend. Information about ticket buyers is covered by the separate Privacy Policy for viewers.
1. Information we collect from organizers
- Application information: when you apply to run events, your name, email address, organization name, website, and the description you give of your events, along with our decision and any internal note we make about it.
- Account information: the email address on your backend account and the organizer display name you use on event listings.
- Event information: the event details you enter (title, description, schedule, price, visibility, replay settings), and the content of your events: the stream we receive and the recording we keep for the replay period.
- Ad Manager information: the ad creatives you upload, your playlists and settings, and the as-run logs of ad breaks.
- Payment and payout information: records of the fees you are charged and the ticket proceeds we collect for your events, and the bank or payout details you give us so we can pay you.
- Correspondence: anything you send us for support.
- Technical data: server logs of the basics needed to run the service, such as IP address, browser and device type, and request times.
2. How we use your information
- to run the backend: create and manage your events, sell your tickets, and serve your streams;
- to charge the fees you agreed to and to pay out proceeds;
- to send service notices about your events and your account;
- to secure the platform and prevent fraud, piracy, and abuse;
- to keep records the law requires, such as tax records.
3. Legal basis (for people in the EU, UK, and similar regions)
- Contract: providing the organizer tools and services you asked for.
- Legitimate interests: securing the platform, preventing fraud and piracy, and keeping reasonable business records.
- Legal obligation: tax and accounting records.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising. If we ever use an organizer’s personal information for marketing, we will ask for consent first.
4. Who we share information with
- Stripe processes ticket payments and the fees you are charged.
- Resend sends our transactional email, such as service notices and payout updates.
- Cloudflare provides content delivery and object storage for your streams and recordings.
- Cloud hosting providers run the application, its database, and the per-event streaming pipeline.
- Payout services, if we use one to send you proceeds, receive only the details needed to make the transfer.
Each provider gets only what it needs to do its job, under contracts that require them to protect the data. We also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of our users.
5. International transfers
Kinecio is based in the United States and our providers process data there and in other countries. When we transfer personal data out of the EU, UK, or other regions with transfer rules, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. Retention
- Event recordings are kept only for the replay period you chose for the event, then deleted.
- Ad creatives and as-run logs are kept while your Ad Manager account is active and for a reasonable period after, so billing and disputes can be resolved.
- Financial records, including ticket sales, fees, and payouts, are kept as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes.
- Sign-in tokens expire within minutes; sessions stay active until you sign out or we revoke them.
- Backups of our servers may retain data for a short additional period before they are overwritten.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable form. If you are in a US state with a consumer privacy law, including Kansas, you also have the right to know what we collect, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of any sale, which we do not do.
To exercise a right, email [email protected]. We will verify your identity and respond within the time the law requires. If you are in the EU or UK and think we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Ticket buyer data
Data about the people who buy your tickets is covered by the viewer Privacy Policy. Where we handle that data to run your event, we use it only for that purpose. If you collect or use attendee data yourself, outside the platform, you are responsible for doing so lawfully.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, signed and expiring access tokens for streams, and restricted access to our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date above and, for material changes, tell you on the platform or by email.
