Delete your EventScreen account
This page is for the EventScreen app and website, operated by Kinecio LLC. It explains how to delete your account and the data tied to it.
Delete it yourself in the app
- Open the EventScreen app and sign in.
- Go to the Account screen.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm when asked.
Delete it on the website
- Open the account page and sign in with the email address on your account. We email you a sign-in link.
- Scroll to Delete account and choose it.
- Confirm when asked.
Ask us to delete it
If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on the account and write “Delete my EventScreen account” in the subject. We verify that the request comes from you, then delete the account and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account and the email address on it.
- Every signed-in device and session. All of them are signed out.
- Pending sign-in links and TV pairing codes.
- The organizations you follow.
- Your organization memberships.
- The push notification token for your devices.
- Any active subscription, which is cancelled so you are not charged again. Tickets and bundles linked to the account stop working.
Deleting an account cannot be undone.
What is kept
- Purchase, bundle and subscription records. We keep these for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We remove your email address from them and unlink them from you, so they no longer identify you.
- Payment records held by Stripe, our payment processor, under Stripe’s own policy. We never receive your card number.
- Server backups, which can hold your data for a short time before they are overwritten.
If you own an organization
If you are the only owner of an organization, we cannot delete your account until you add another owner or remove the organization. The app and website tell you which organizations this applies to.
